I'm pleased. Not that I can tell a difference physically, but that I've sort of stopped caring about food. It's not a motivating factor for me right now. Don't get me wrong, really good stuff is still really good, but stuff that I'd previously categorized as "really good" isn't really making the scale anymore at the moment. It's a bit disappointing to try something that tasted good before and discover it's just not doing it for you anymore, but that's probably for the best, right? Right.

Breakfast: 1 egg, over medium. 1 slice canadian bacon. 1 piece whole grain toast, with the previously mentioned authorized faux butter. 4 oz of orange juice, fresh, unsweetened, and still tasting cloyingly sweet to me now. Argh. 6 oz tomato juice.

Snack: 1 oz dark chocolate (allowed).

Lunch: Sliced smoked turkey (about 3/4 cup), 3/4 cup tomato, green pepper, and onion salad with balsamic vinaigrette. Balsamic wasn't the way to go, but I'll know better next time and try something else. It wasn't bad, it just didn't pop. 2 sugar-free fudgsicles. 6 oz. Pepsi Throwback -- better than its modern HFCS equivalent, but it didn't make me gloriously happy or anything. Yes, I know I shouldn't have. Then again, you don't have my body today. Hush, you. On the up side, I didn't want more of it than I had. Go me.

Snack: Sugar free fudgsicles.

Dinner: Well, there's a certain monthly thing going on here. I went to PCC and got a small individual-serving mocha cake, which was So Much Sugar. Good, but not something I'll do again. Damn. I also bought more cheese and some whole grain crackers (of which I had three). I had a pear and a little Stilton blue cheese with the crackers. I had a piece of tofu jerky (thanks to Bruce for the recommendation) I had a handful of smoked Gouda popcorn. I did not have anything even remotely resembling a real dinner, and way, way, way too many carbs, and... well, that's the way life is sometimes.

Nighttime snack: A handful of cherries right before bed.
