San Francisco, there I went....

Went to San Francisco and saw old friends. Twas wonderful. On Saturday, we drove down to Monterey and wandered down Cannery Row, shopped, and went to the aquarium and saw the sea otters and the great white shark. I had a great time (and the Blue Moon down there serves some really good martinis, and the food is excellent). Happily, said friends had Firefly, so they showed me some episodes.

Um, why didn't anybody tell me that Firefly is fucking brilliant?

*grin*

Yes, yes, I've been converted, seen the light, and otherwise generally succumbed to the really good stuff that is Firefly. Sigh.

But yeah, the weekend was absolutely great. I'm exhausted, but I enjoyed myself so very, very much.

You know what, you're right. My bad. There's a good chance I'm going to BayCon over Memorial Day weekend. If you're not out of town, it would be quite cool to see you. :)
