Three headaches, three days in a row. Not quite the same each time, so I can't easily point to a common cause, other than being fucking stressed. Trying to concentrate and work, and having absolutely no luck whatsoever. Feh.

The cat has discovered that if she tries really hard, sometimes she can push out the crap screens that came on these windows. We've since bought two more fans and are now keeping all the windows closed. This sucks. On the plus side, when she initially got out through this method, she did not run away. She lounged about and explored the driveway a bit, then decided she wanted back in. I guess she likes us. Lord knows why.

Bought clothes for boys today. Bought myself two tops at Marshall's today that I likely should not have, but that I really like--and I needed more things that were not gaming T-shirts or long-sleeved winter shirts. The last time I bought any clothes was my birthday, back in February, and the weather's a bit different now. If I could find good pants and stompy boots I would feel ready for GenCon, more or less. We shall see if they come to pass.

If they are the screens I am thinking of - you can get little K like spacers that will make the screen's fit a bit tighter. We'd actually had nailed our screens in at one place we lived, but for obvious reasons I don't recommend that. ;)

Reservations for Vic trip made. Departing at Oh-Fuck-It's-Early in the morning August 6th. Heading back sometime the next day. Will introduce you to Alec, the founder of the feast (or vacation, whatever) and old college friend. Should be fun. :)

Try angling some small nails at the edge of the screen on all four sides. That should keep them in for you and the cat should not be able to dislodge them.
