Ohmygawd I'm sore.
Apr. 1st, 2007 04:54 pmMy friends Aimee and Tarisse are moving into a townhouse together. Aimee had to be out of her old apartment this weekend, so yesterday I went over and helped move boxes. Happily, she's moving to a different place in the same complex. Unhappily, she's moved from a second floor apartment into a townhouse where her bedroom is on the third floor. Who needs a Stairmaster with friends like these? :) We got it all done, though, and Aimee was kind enough to buy us dinner -- oh, and I got to do laundry, which was very helpful. Tarisse will be moving in the next couple of weeks or so, so I'll be doing this again shortly. She has more stuff, but we'll cope.
I also went to my new gym and met with one of their trainers. I'm exceptionally happy with him. He spotted the imbalances in my musculature right off and has some plans as to how to balance things out better, so I'm not always using one side of my body to always compensate for the other. He also understands about scoliosis and stuff like that, so the fact that my workouts tend to need to resemble physical therapy/rehab won't throw him. I'm actually considering purchasing sessions if I can find a way to work it. I do so much better with a trainer, especially one who actually knows what they're doing.
